Began playing at the Warriors in 2006, that was my first time actually playing in a league match.
International Honours:
In my previous life I was an athlete! Represented Wales and GB as a junior through the age groups and then made it into the senior GB athletics squad. Have competed at world champs, the Barcelona 1994 Paralympic Games and was briefly world record holder in the discus and pentathlon.
Personal Details:
Married to Trish, step dad to lauren (Lol) that's her nickname not laugh out loud! Have 2 cats, Fred and Ginger and live in sunny Rhyl
What do you do to relax ?
What do you do to relax ? Train!, watch sport mainly rugby, cricket and football
Where do you work ?
Worked in various roles from a welder, production manager, development manager, even as a salesman!
What is your favourite type of music ?
Anything from stereophonics, U2, Elvis, kings of leon, foo fighters and many many more
What is your favourite food ?
Steak and chips, pasta and a good indian or chinese. (Not all at the same time!)
Where have you most enjoyed playing basketball ?
At Warriors, had some great games and hopefully more to come.
Do you follow an NBA team or Wheelchair Basketball Team ?
Respect what sheffield steelers have achieved and also think wolves rhinos have shown a club like ours what can be done with hard work and vision.
What are your personal ambitions ?
To help create a legacy at the warriors that leads to the club, one day, competing at super league level and having players come through the club and challenge for international recognition.
